Event Name:  Break boundaries with creativity, reshape space!
Event Description:  1-As part of Space Week, our students will recreate historic spacecraft using recycled materials in a fun competition. By combining imagination and sustainability, they are taking their first steps toward becoming the explorers of tomorrow. In this activity, students will be asked to create spacecraft using recycled materials. This activity will highlight the technologies used in renewable energy and space technology, thereby emphasizing how they contribute to the development of clean energy solutions on Earth. 2-Students will imagine that a new planet has been discovered and design a creature that could live there. 3-Posters from https://www.worldspaceweek.org/media/poster/ will be displayed on the school notice board to inform the entire school about Space Week. The presentations for the first activity will be given by the students on Monday, October 7, from 08:55 to 09:35; Wednesday, October 9, from 10:45 to 12:20; and Thursday, October 10, from 10:45 to 11:25. The winners of the competitions will be announced on Friday, October 18. The design sketches for the second activity will be displayed on the school notice board from October 7 to 11, and the winning student will be announced on Friday, October 18. The posters on the school notice board will be displayed during Space Week.

Report on the Results:  1-At the beginning of the week, a display about 'World Space Week' was prepared on the school notice board. On the same day, the competition was announced. 2-Throughout the week, students gave presentations of the spacecraft they had prepared in groups. They scored each other, and the scores were added up to select the winning group.We decided to give awards to the winning groups. 3-The drawings of life forms that students imagined living on exoplanets were collected throughout the week and displayed on the 'World Space Week' notice board. The students said they really enjoyed this week and would like to celebrate it every year. They also mentioned they were surprised at their ability to create products from recycled materials.
