Event Description:  8:00 AM - 8:30 AM | Greeting and Opening: The day starts with the usual morning greeting, followed by a brief talk about "World Space Week." The importance of space, its role in our lives, and how humans have explored it is explained. A short video about the universe and planets is shown, lasting no more than 5-10 minutes, with simple questions asked to the students about what they watched to spark their curiosity and encourage interaction. 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM | First Activity: Making Planet Models In this activity, materials are distributed to the students (plastic balls, colors, information cards). Each student decorates their planet model and writes an information card about the planet (e.g., Earth, Mars, Saturn). The planet models are displayed in a "Mini Space Museum" inside the classroom or a designated area in the school. 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM | Astronaut Station A designated area is set up to represent a "Space Station," where students wear astronaut costumes made from simple materials. They can play by simulating microgravity, attempting to catch suspended objects, adding a fun and interactive atmosphere. 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM | Space Break During the break, space-themed snacks are offered, such as "star-shaped cookies" or "space juices" named after planets (e.g., Mars Juice). 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM | "Planet Explorer" Project The students are divided into small groups. Each group selects a planet or a famous space mission and conducts simple research on the planet using books or available electronic resources. Each group presents a simple summary about their planet using posters or colorful drawings. 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM | Designing a Spaceship from Cardboard The students are given materials like cardboard and colors to build a small spaceship. They are encouraged to decorate the spaceship and get creative with its design. After the activity, the spaceships are displayed in the classroom or in a space exhibit. 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM | Space Quiz A space-themed quiz is held, with questions about the solar system, planets, and space missions. Small prizes, such as mini astronaut figurines or star badges, are awarded to the winning teams. 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM | Paper Rocket Launch Colored paper is distributed to the students to make paper rockets. After the rockets are prepared, a simple competition is organized to launch them into the air, and the "Best Rocket" is selected based on the creativity of its design and how high it flies. 1:00 PM | Closing and Awards The event concludes with certificates of appreciation or medals given to each student who participated in the activities. A group photo is taken with the students next to the planet models or space decorations that were set up beforehand, to document the event and keep a memorable memento.
