Event Name: | SPACE AND CLIMATE CHANGE |
Event Description: | World Space Week is an international celebration of space science and technology, held annually from October 4 to October 10. When it was celebrated at the school, it became a fun and educational event that sparked interest in space exploration among students. Throughout the week, the school was transformed into a space hub, with hallways decorated with planets, stars, rockets, and astronauts . Students from different grades were invited to create models and presentations about space-related topics. These included models of the solar system, spacecraft. A space-themed quiz competition was organized where students competed in teams to answer questions about space exploration, astronomy, and scientific discoveries. Padlet, an online interactive platform, was used to enhance collaboration during the event by serving as a digital bulletin board where students, teachers, and parents shared ideas, projects, and thoughts about space. We asked students about Saudi Arabia’s role in space exploration, encouraging them to research and discuss the Kingdom’s recent advancements. |
