| Event Description: | Report on World Space Week: “Space and Climate Change” From Sunday, October 6th to Thursday, October 10th, 2024, we celebrated World Space Week under the theme “Space and Climate Change.” During this week, we learned how space helps protect our planet from climate changes, such as rising temperatures and melting ice. Activities of the Week: • Sunday, October 6th: We started the week with a fun talk about satellites and how they monitor the Earth to help us understand climate changes. • Monday, October 7th: We participated in workshops where we learned how space images are used to track weather and floods. • Tuesday, October 8th: We watched videos about space agencies, like NASA, and how they help countries protect the environment using space technology. • Wednesday, October 9th: We held competitions about space and the environment, encouraging everyone to come up with new ideas to protect the Earth. • Thursday, October 10th: We ended the week with a small celebration where prizes were given for excellent participation, and we talked about the importance of continuing to care for the environment with the help of space. World Space Week was both fun and educational, and we learned how space can help make our planet a better place. |
