| Event Description: | Space4Teens (_14s) is an educational program that intends to help high school students explore the world of space science using real satellite data. Through fun, hands-on workshops and online challenges, students learn how to use space tools (like satellite images from ESA or NASA) to study climate change, pollution, or natural disasters in their own communities. The program turns complex space technology into something students can understand, apply, and even teach others. It’s designed for teens who are curious, creative, and ready to use science for good. The goal is to make space science exciting and relevant—especially for students in schools with fewer resources.2 workshops, one in person and one remote online, will be held, in which students will learn how to use free satellite data to learn more about their local environment and to analyse data to find solutions for and with the help of their communities. |
