| Event Description: | The Science Circle is an international alliance of scientists, educators, students, and science enthusiasts. Participants in Project 'Moon Base Selene' meet every Monday to research and share what we learn about how we might live and work sustainably in a base on at the lunar south pole in about 2070. Our group uses the 3D virtual world of Second Life to visualize how we might satisfy basic human needs, safety, security, and higher needs such as professional and personal relationships and esteem for team-related operations, and cognitive, and aesthetic needs to conduct operations optimally. |
