| Event Description: | The event runs from 4 pm onwards celebrating the cultural festival Diwali in SPace Style. The theme is celebrating Diwali in Space. We have the following activities starting from the 4th October for people to have a though on how it is to live in Space - The theme of WSW this year. -Space Story Circle – Each person shares one memory of looking at the night sky (e.g., childhood stargazing, eclipses). -Space Poetry – Write a 3-line poem (haiku) about the universe and read aloud. -Wish Upon a Star – Write wishes or goals on star-shaped paper and pin them to a “galaxy wall.” -Name a Star Constellation – Groups invent their own constellation and explain its story. - Space Costume Dress-up – Come as astronauts, aliens, stars, or planets using homemade outfits. -Space research STory - Do your own research on Space topics of your choice and explain that in your own words. - Space Debate - "Life will be Amazing in Outer Space" - We will have Team Affirmative & Team These events are aimed to have participation from diverse age and interests towards SPace. |
