Build and blast off in your own rocket ship, see gravity in action in an eye-opening demo, and get an up-close look at the Canadarm—one of Canada’s most iconic space technologies. Discover the challenges of daily life aboard the International Space Station, and don’t miss the chance to meet space experts for a lively conversation about our Solar System and beyond. Included with admission Rocket adventures Location: Mauril Bélanger Theatre Day/time: Daily October 4 to 13 (except October 8), 10:30 a.m. Build a rocket ship, climb aboard, and blast off! Once in space, put on your jetpack, and go on a spacewalk to repair your ship. After a quick snack on the Moon, fly back to Earth! Recommended for ages 3 to 6 years. In this demonstration, we visualize gravity according to Einstein and discover the impacts of gravity on the Sun, Moon and planets in our Solar System.
